Being a platinum elite and ambassador status, I got ZERO benefit out of stay… no early check in (not even 10 mins), hardly any upgrade, no breakfast, no late checkout… on top of it, disgusting attitude of hotel management in addressing any concern… too bad hotel management will negate any good experience you might have with good location and beauty of the property… there are hotels with better benefits and customer service even 3* are better… if you like to have good experience and value for the money, stay away from this pathetic hotel management…

What a wonderful experience at Intercontinental Pattaya. Room was beautifully decorated with birthday celebrations. It’s a very nice experience. Thanks so much for hosting the birthday. The room decor may not be modern but it suits the resort and beautiful.
Recognition is honored as the room was upgraded to ocean view. It’s a very relaxing view.
We chose breakfast as welcome amenity. There are varieties of food. Some are very good but some need improvement (e.g. egg Benedict and noodle). But we enjoyed it especially sticky rice and mango and services.
Dinner at Element was overall great and tasty. We love fish dish and shrimp something but not a big fan of Kao soi although the curry is rich. Somehow the taste is underwhelming like something is missing. Anyway it’s a good choice to dine at the hotel as we can rest after the long flights.
Massage was fabulous as usual. I highly recommend two hours of Thai massage. You won’t be disappointed.
We used the pool and it’s such a great spot to enjoy and relax. The complimentary water and towels was really nice.
The hotel ambience is wonderful and you can relax as if you are in a hidden oasis.
Staff are friendly and eager to assist. Oh don’t be surprised if they don’t ride on the same elevator with guest. I find that interesting and thoughtful especially when the elevator was full but we don’t mind that they ride with the guests.
Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel ist von der Lage her ein bisschen außerhalb und somit viel ruhiger als irgendwo in der Stadt. Hier kommt es vor, als ob der Service abgenommen, früher waren die Mitarbeiter noch freundlicher und zuvorkommend. Die Suiten nach schönste Pool war gerade, Renovierungsarbeiten. Konnte nicht genutzt werden daher war es auch ein bisschen lauter. Die Club Lounge hat leider die Happy Hour von 20 bis 22:00 Uhr. Ist natürlich ein bisschen spät und danach noch auszugehen. Deshalb auch nicht gut besucht. Bis nächsten aber okay und der Service auch was gar nicht geht ist, wenn kurz nach 21:00 Uhr bereits besetzten Tische abgeräumt werden und um 21:45 Uhr wären dann quasi die Stühle hochgestellt und das Buffet abgeräumt. Natürlich ist es dann schon spät aber wenn man im Club bis 22:00 Uhr hat, dann sollte man das auch erst nach 22:00 Uhr Preisleistung hat jedem Fall gepasst und bestimmt werden wir ja wiederkommen.
